Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Specialist to join our team at Level-Up. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create detailed drawings of various HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
  • Prepare plans, sections, details, and isometric drawings as required.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Assist in preparing material take-offs and as-built drawings.
  • Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Attend project meetings and provide technical support and expertise as needed.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in MEP Drafting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the electrical, mechanical, or plumbing field.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Basic knowledge of different Mechanical equipment in terms of function w.r.t HVAC, wet services, lifts, escalators, and fire protection.
  • Clear understanding of SANS 10400 regulations.
  • Site coordination/planning experience required.
  • Autodesk Revit modeling experience required.
