We are seeking a reliable and skilled Grade A Security Officer to join our team at Tsuafrica. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of security and safety within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Premise Maintenance**: Ensure that all premises are secure and well-maintained.
  • Access Control**: Authorize entrance of vehicles or people into the property.
  • Trespasser Removal**: Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area.
  • Exits Securing**: Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations.
  • CCTV Monitoring**: Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
  • Suspicious Activity Investigation**: Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
  • Alarm Response**: Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
  • People Assistance**: Provide assistance to people in need.
  • Perpetrator Detention**: Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities.
  • Daily Surveillance Report**: Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Requirements
  • PSIRA Registration**: Must be Grade A – PSIRA registered and up to date.
  • Highest Qualification**: Highest School qualification - Grade 12.
  • Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills in English – verbal and written.
  • Guarding Experience**: At least 1 year experience in corporate guarding.
  • Search Procedure Knowledge**: Knowledge and understanding of the search procedure.
  • Private Security Sector Experience**: At least 2 years' experience in the private security sector.
  • No Criminal Record**: No criminal record.
  • Long Hours Tolerance**: Must be able stand for long hours.
  • Natality and Presentability**: Must be neat and presentable.
  • Good People Skills**: Good people skills.
