Job Description:
As an Industrial Operations Specialist at Workforce Staffing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage daily maintenance activities, including issuing work orders and coordinating with contractors and operations staff.
- Provide timely reports and information from the Engineering and Maintenance Management System as requested by operations personnel or contractors.
- Monitor workflow from initiation to completion, ensuring accurate close-out information is entered into the system.
- Maintain the equipment database, including inputting new entities, specification sheets, spares lists, entity changes, and updates.
- Data input of new planned maintenance routines, standard jobs, and procedures.
- Update equipment run hours on the Engineering and Maintenance Management System to ensure proper timing of maintenance actions.
- Assist in developing reporting from the Engineering and Maintenance Management System.
- Coordinate and monitor contractors and liaise with operations staff in performing remedial actions related to vessel and equipment inspections.
- Produce exception and breakdown work orders, ensuring parts and materials are drawn from stores, and coordinate contractors to commence work.
- Run generation of preventative maintenance work schedule on the Engineering and Maintenance Management System and generate work orders for the coming period.
Requirements:
- NQF 4 Level in Mathematics and Science or NQF Level with at least three years' experience in Maintenance Planning.
- Qualified Tradesman with experience in Maintenance Operations.
- Minimum of three years' experience in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling in an Industrial or Manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in the use of CMMS and Maintenance planning tools.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA), non-compliance reporting, and management of change processes.
