As a Claims Advocate, you will handle complex COID claims and advise on significant or problematic claims for clients. This involves claim assessment, resolution, and finalization.

You will be responsible for capturing information accurately from hardcopy documents onto internal and COID systems, ensuring timely capturing and registration of claims, determining the legitimacy of claims after reviewing all documentation, communicating effectively with the commissioner and clients to obtain required information, verifying all documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy, updating the system promptly with new received information, responding to relevant inquiries in a timely manner, providing timely feedback to clients regarding their claims, ensuring all documents submitted are acceptable for payment, submitting documentation to COID in a timely manner and following up on all submissions, visiting COID offices regularly to maintain relationships and gather information, and providing clients with reports regarding the progress of their claims.

Key Responsibilities:
