Assistant Manager Inventory

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Inventory to join our team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available at all times.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the Inventory Manager to develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Train and supervise inventory staff, ensuring they are following proper procedures and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
  • Address any inventory-related issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting for inventory needs.
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels and usage for management review.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in inventory management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
