Job Description

As a Finance Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, focusing on identifying and placing top-tier finance professionals in roles that align with their expertise and career aspirations.

  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, gaining a thorough understanding of their recruitment needs, organizational culture, and industry challenges.
  • Candidate Acquisition: Proactively source, assess, and engage high-caliber finance professionals through various channels including headhunting, job boards, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Interview & Assessment: Conduct comprehensive interviews to evaluate candidates' technical expertise, professional experience, and alignment with client requirements, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
  • Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the finance sector, leveraging market insights and industry knowledge to build a strong client base.
  • Offer Management: Negotiate employment offers, ensuring both client and candidate expectations are met, and manage the entire process from offer through to placement.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on finance roles, or strong industry-specific knowledge gained through working within the finance sector.
  • Finance Expertise: Deep understanding of key finance functions, including accounting, audit, tax, financial planning & analysis, and treasury.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and build strong professional relationships at all levels.
  • Negotiation & Problem-Solving: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage expectations, resolve challenges, and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment. Finance niche background will be advantageous.
