Job Title: Waiters/ess

Job Summary:

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a skilled and friendly Waiters/ess to join our team. As a Waiters/ess, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant or bar in a warm and friendly manner.
  2. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.
  3. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  4. Assist with setting up and clearing tables, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant and bar area, adhering to all safety and sanitation procedures.
  6. Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  7. Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality food and beverages.
  8. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to guests, increasing revenue and enhancing the customer experience.
  9. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  10. Attend training sessions and meetings as required, staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  2. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
  3. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  4. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  5. Fluent in English, with additional languages a plus.
  6. Must be at least 21 years old.
  7. Must have a valid passport and be able to obtain necessary visas and travel documents.
  8. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
