Housekeeping Director

Bright Placements is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Director to lead the housekeeping team at our prestigious 5-star game lodge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort for our guests.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or lodge environment. You will be expected to manage and coordinate housekeeping operations, train and motivate staff, conduct regular inspections, and develop policies and procedures to ensure adherence to 5-star standards.

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures and policies to ensure consistency and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with 5-star standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost control and budget adherence.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience and provide excellent customer service.

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or lodge environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
