Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Accountancy Placements Pietermaritzburg. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data from various sources, including Collections team, to establish organizational structure and inform business decisions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Interact with Collections team managers to understand their needs and requirements, and present detailed reports on data insights.
  • Debt Recovery Analysis: Analyze debit order and other payment methods to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Data Integrity and Efficiency: Work closely with IT teams to ensure data integrity, streamline data extraction processes, and improve data analysis workflows.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis and Reporting: Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support special projects and initiatives, and create reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Data Visualization: Visualize data from different source systems, including Excel, SQL, and Excalibur.
  • Debt Portfolio Analysis: Conduct comprehensive data analysis on debt portfolios, including delinquency rates, payment trends, and collection performance.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Create and maintain automated reporting dashboards using Power BI, providing insights into debt collectors' performance metrics.
  • Operational KPIs: Analyze operational KPIs based on team weekly performance.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in a related field.
