Job Summary
The HVAC-Chiller Technician will be responsible for supporting customers by executing tasks related to the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and chiller equipment. This role will involve working on customer sites, providing excellent service, and ensuring that equipment is installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission HVAC and chiller equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment
- Conduct site surveys to identify equipment needs and upgrade or refurbish equipment as required
- Test equipment to analyze faults and ensure it conforms to system manuals
- Commission systems and equipment using standard configuration and commissioning tools
- Maintain and repair installed equipment, following preventative maintenance schedules and responding to call-outs in a timely manner
- Provide value-added consulting advice to customers to gain repeat business
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Matric certificate
- Qualified Artisan certificate
- Valid code B driver's license
- Computer literacy
