Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies
Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct Risk AssessmentsConduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Provide Training and AwarenessProvide training and awareness programs to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
Investigate IncidentsInvestigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain RecordsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of health and safety activities, including training, inspections, and incidents.
Collaborate with StakeholdersCollaborate with employees, management, and external stakeholders to ensure health and safety is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
Requirements- Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 years experience in health and safety
- ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 Implementation certificate
- SAMTRAC certification
- At least 5-8 years relevant experience in safety, health, quality, and environmental management
- Knowledge of relevant statutory acts and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level computer literacy
- Valid driver's license and own transport
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements
- Ability to liaise and communicate with various stakeholders
- Good planning, integration, and resources management skills
