Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality-control tests and inspections of samples supplied from the manufacturing plant through to the laboratory
  • Communicate well with a diverse range of people at different levels of seniority
  • Manage time and workload based on production planning requirements and/or urgencies
  • Carry out procedural quality checks on manufactured samples
  • Perform visual inspections of finished goods
  • Generate quality reports
Requirements
  • Must have a matric certificate, with maths
  • A diploma is preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience in a quality control position is preferred but not essential
  • Must have proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Previous experience in the plastic or polymer or masterbatch markets is preferred but not essential
