The Energy Systems Maintenance Professional will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our renewable energy systems, including solar PV, diesel generators, and LV/MV networks.
This role involves performing routine maintenance, generating performance reports, and optimizing system efficiency for large-scale renewable installations.
The successful candidate will be based in Cape Town and report to the O&M Department Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance on solar PV, diesel generators, and LV/MV networks.
- Generate performance reports to ensure optimal system efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures, and maintain accurate service records.
- Provide technical guidance to clients and site operators, and train them on system operations and maintenance best practices.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns, conduct on-site assessments, and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Proven experience in renewable energy systems.
- Knowledge of solar PV, diesel generators, and LV/MV networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
