We are seeking an experienced Medical Records Scanner Operator to join our team at Mediclinic Nelspruit. As a key member of our medical records department, you will be responsible for preparing patient records for scanning, scanning documents, and maintaining scanners.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Preparing patient records for scanning by collecting and organizing documents.
  2. Scanning patient documentation to create digital copies.
  3. Maintaining two dedicated scanners, ensuring they are clean and functioning properly.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of administrative processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
  • Familiarity with medical records and nextimage scanning software.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection policies.
