Coordinating Youth Experiences

The Coordinator of Youth Mission and Service Experiences is an integral part of the Faith Formation team at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of youth experiences, from service projects to spiritual retreats. Your key responsibilities will include cultivating relationships with and among Junior High and High School youth, initiating external connection points with youth quarterly, and coordinating opportunities for service hours. You will also recruit and supervise youth advisors, plan annual Youth Sunday worship and mission trip fundraisers, and provide primary leadership of the annual group mission trip. A Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience working with youth 12-18 years of age are preferred, along with certification in CPR and First Aid and Safe Space training.
