Job Opportunity: Commercial Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Attorney with 4+ years of post-article experience to join our team at Stonebridge HR Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with a focus on non-litigious corporate and commercial law matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commercial law strategies to drive business growth
  • Provide expert advice on corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A's, corporate finance, and private equity
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other commercial documents
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends in commercial law
Requirements:
  • LLB degree
  • B. Com / Finance degree will be advantageous
  • LLM in corporate and commercial law will be advantageous
  • 4+ years post-article experience specializing in non-litigious corporate and commercial law matters
  • Strong contract drafting skills
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of corporate and commercial transactions
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written). Fluency in Afrikaans will be advantageous
  • Fully computer literate (incl. MS Word, Excel, etc.)
