About the Role

  1. Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to determine scope of work and materials required.
  2. Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
  3. Develop bid proposals for construction projects.
  4. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely bids.
  5. Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
  7. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Requirements

  • Relevant Site Construction experience is necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, or RSMeans.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional certification (e.g. Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus.
