About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge systems, components, and products related to solvent recovery, recycling, and other eco-friendly technologies. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Product Design & Development">
    • ">
    • Design and develop mechanical and/or electrical systems for solvent recycling and recovery solutions.">
    • Use AutoCAD Inventor / CAD software to create detailed 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.">
    • Evaluate designs for functionality, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.">

  • Technical Analysis">
    • ">
    • Conduct simulations, stress tests, and performance evaluations to validate designs.">
    • Analyse data from testing and implement design improvements.">
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during the prototyping and production stages.">
    ">
  • Collaboration & Coordination">
    • ">
    • Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams to ensure designs meet operational needs.">
    • Work with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components.">
    • Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams by preparing presentations and client-facing documentation.">

  • Project Management">
    • ">
    • Lead design projects from concept to final production while adhering to timelines and budgets.">
    • Maintain clear documentation for all design processes and modifications.">
    • Report progress and challenges to stakeholders regularly.">

    • Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.">
    • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in sustainable design and environmental engineering.">

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).">
  • Proven experience in a design engineering role, preferably in the environmental or manufacturing industry.">
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar tools.">
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost management.">
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles and eco-design practices is a plus.">
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.">
