Bank Teller Job Description

Affinity Services is seeking a skilled Bank Teller to provide exceptional customer service and support in our banking operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing transactions, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding account balances, services, and bank products, providing clear and concise information.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer and verify transactions to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
  • Identify and report any suspicious activities or potential fraud in accordance with bank policies.
  • Promote bank products and services that meet customer needs, enhancing their banking experience.
  • Provide documentation and support for account openings and other banking services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to compliance and security protocols.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance or related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a bank teller or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong numerical and cash handling skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficient in using banking software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A professional demeanor, integrity, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
