Job Title: Stores/Warehouse Manager

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stores/Warehouse Manager to join their team in the Beverage Manufacturing industry in the Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the stores department, ensuring compliance with FSSC 22000 requirements.
  • Ensure the stores department is clean, organized, and adheres to company guidelines for raw material display.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory levels with the inventory management system to maintain accurate records.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to inventory, deliveries, or store operations.
  • Oversee factory warehouse operations, including receiving finish goods from production and distributing finished goods to the distribution center, in compliance with FSSC 22000 requirements.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance factory warehouse operations and productivity.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure documentation meets internal and external audit requirements.
  • Train stores and factory warehouse staff on accurate record-keeping and document control in relation to food safety.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to stores and factory warehouse staff on their performance.
  • Manage staffing levels to meet operational requirements, including hiring and training new employees.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years' experience in warehousing and inventory management, preferably in a FMCG environment.
  • In-depth understanding of FMCG industry requirements for stores, warehousing, and distribution processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Strong knowledge of FSSC standards and requirements and the ability to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Adaptability to changes in the FMCG environment and ability to manage multiple priorities.
