Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Construct Executive Search. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tailings engineering and a strong background in civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement innovative solutions for tailings management systems.
  2. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on geotechnical engineering.
  3. Analyse data from CPTu testing and interpretation, slope stability, seepage analysis, and FEM software like Geostudio.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in geotechnical engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4-7 years of experience in tailings engineering.
  • Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of soil mechanics.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or ModelMaker software.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and passport required.
  • Fluency in English essential.
