Main Responsibilities

  2. Monitor and manage financial statements, ensuring compliance with Roche Group Accounting standards, local accounting standards, and tax/customs regulations.">
  3. Evaluate performance and provide financial insights based on commercial KPIs to support decision-making.">
  4. Act as a key contact for the Roche Services and Solutions organization (RSS), linking local Commercial and RSS operations.">
  5. Allocate costs and prepare cost center journals.">
  6. Work towards improving Net Operating Assets (NOA).">
  7. Develop, update, and manage finance-related policies, procedures, and systems.">
  8. Manage operational procurement activities.">
  9. Act as a key stakeholder in BBBEE strategic decisions and oversee the audit process.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Degree in economics or finance.">
  • 5+ years of professional experience in local, regional, or global Finance or Controlling roles.">
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical skills, ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.">
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that is inspirational to others.">
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, proven ability to build successful relationships at all levels.">
  • Solid Accounting knowledge (IFRS) is an asset.">
  • Have continuous improvement mentality and can act as change agent.">
  • Good interpersonal skills and appreciation of diversity.">
  • Experience working with the Google suite of programs.">
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills.">
  • Previous systems-related experience such as SAP.">
