The salary for this position is estimated at R 250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for laying out, fitting, and fabricating metal components. This involves assembling structural forms, such as construction of conveyors, platforms, structures, trolleys, and any manufacturing according to drawings.

You will work with various cutting torches, Tig, stick, and Mig welding techniques. Additionally, you must have the ability to use hand and power tools, read and use measuring equipment, and work according to engineering drawings.

Your tasks will include surface preparation prior to welding, constructing jigs with close tolerances, and carrying out inspections on any work performed. You will also develop and fabricate various shapes and equipment, such as square to round and lobster back.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We require a Grade 12 or N3 qualification, Boilermaker trade certification, and 3-5 years' experience as a qualified Boilermaker. A valid driver's license and own transport are also necessary.
