Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Airframe Stress Engineer to join our team and contribute to the structural integrity and safety of our aircraft. As an Airframe Stress Engineer, you will perform static and dynamic stress analysis on airframe components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

You will conduct fatigue and damage tolerance assessments, including material strength and failure criteria evaluations. Additionally, you will review and approve structural design changes to ensure they meet safety, weight, and cost targets.

Your responsibilities will also include working closely with design teams to provide technical support during the aircraft development process. You will prepare technical reports, including analysis results, to present to internal teams and regulatory bodies.

Furthermore, you will participate in testing and validation programs to verify analysis results and provide feedback on any design modifications. Your role will be critical in ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the engineering process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. You must have proven experience in airframe stress analysis, preferably in commercial or military aerospace sectors.

Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., NASTRAN, FEMAP, or similar tools) is essential. A strong understanding of aerospace materials, failure theories, and industry regulations is also required.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing reports and presenting findings are necessary. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team is also essential.

In addition, you should possess detail-oriented skills with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
