Outside Capital is seeking a senior tax consultant to join our team. As a senior tax consultant, you will be responsible for guiding us through the complexities of tax legislation, providing advice and recommendations on new tax processes, controls, and structures.

This exciting role offers an opportunity to take on tax advisory services and tax reporting for a leading player in the financial services industry. With your expertise, you will prepare robust tax opinions and motivations, guide the business on tax risk mitigation strategies, and provide tax advice on Corporate Finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing robust tax opinions and motivations
  2. Guiding the business on tax risk mitigation strategies
  3. Providing tax advice on Corporate Finance transactions
  4. Reviewing tax returns and provisional tax returns
  5. Attending to all SARS related correspondence

Requirements:

  1. CA(SA) with relevant under-graduate degree plus H.Dip Tax or Tax Honours/Masters
  2. At least 8 years core tax advisory, tax compliance experience
  3. Good operational understanding across the financial services industry
  4. IFRS knowledge particularly related to deferred tax and tax disclosure
