As a Senior Mechanical Design Expert, you will be responsible for creating designs that meet industry standards, developing assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings, and implementing engineering change proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create efficient designs that are simple, feasible, cost-effective, and accurate.
  • Develop assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings according to industry standards.
  • Prepare part specifications, BOMs, production orders, and manuals.
  • Implement engineering change proposals (ECPs) on designs.
  • Issue revisions and update manufacturing drawings, material lists, and machine manuals.
  • Lay out drawings for customer manufacturing areas.
  • Draft P&IDs.
  • Provide technical support during manufacturing processes and for on-site technicians.

This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, particularly 3D CAD for machine design, as well as proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and 2D CAD. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
