Description

The role will effectively investigate and manage assigned non-motor claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution while providing excellent service in setting a culture of best practice within mandated responsibility.

You would:

  • Be aware of escalation metrics and approved channels.
  • Analyze problems and formulate solving approaches.
  • Identify signs and details indicating potential issues.
  • Understand non-motor claims policies, activities, and procedures in the claims environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and correct assessments.
  • Explore alternatives available for claims assessing and settlement processes.
  • Map client needs to company specifications.
  • Create collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support implementing new systems and processes.

Service Delivery

  • Actively follow service practices to determine the status of customer service and relations.
  • Proactively identify customer solutions to address changing service requirements.
  • Establish productive operational relationships with key stakeholders.

Cost Control and Governance

  • Proactively ensure the use of time, resources, money, materials, or equipment is in line with policies and procedures.
  • Comply with corporate governance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Operate within agreed mandates.

Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (NSC)
  • Higher Certificate in Short-Term Insurance (NQF 5)
  • 3-5 years Non-Motor Claims Assessment experience.
  • Valid South African Driver's License
