Dialysis Technician

At National Renal Care Pty, we are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and optimal operation of the dialysis service by following established policies, procedures, and NRC standards. This includes cleaning dialysis machines before each patient's session, performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance inspections on the unit generator, and adhering to all financial policies and procedures.

In addition, the successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and patient care by ordering and serving meals to patients according to their dietary requirements and NRC policies and procedures. They will also maintain a safe work environment, adhere to daily infection control and occupational health and safety standards, and stay updated on healthcare worker functions in the unit.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Grade 12 level of numeracy and literacy and a minimum of 1 year of experience within a similar role. A minimum of 1 year of experience in renal care is advantageous, and strong interpersonal skills are required. You should be able to work well under pressure and be a team player with a focus on providing high-quality work and excellent customer service.
