E-Merge is seeking a senior data architect to spearhead the development of its real-time analytics platform. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data architectures that integrate seamlessly with AI/ML pipelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI/ML models.
  • Ensuring data quality, security, and governance across the platform.
  • Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
  • Optimizing query performance using Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML and data engineering.

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
  • Expertise in database management systems, particularly Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
