The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling customer relationships and a proven track record of generating and growing sales. You will need to have a detailed understanding of strategic and preferred suppliers, including knowledge of their deals, specials, and packages.

You will be responsible for delivering a speedy service to sales agents, ensuring efficient communication and meeting tight deadlines. You will also need to demonstrate a strong focus on sales and be equally invested in the success of each booking.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Has at least 4-5 years with Senior experience in handling customer relationships developing & promoting product and building journeys in the inbound travel industry
  • Has in-depth knowledge of Southern and East Africa
  • Has working knowledge of TourPlan and WETU or similar booking/operating system
  • Has personal or educational travel experience that is advantageous
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Is dynamic, creative, organised and has excellent communication skills
  • Thrives under pressure in the fast-paced environment with tight deadlines without compromising accuracy and prioritising demands
  • Has strong financial skills and is a self-starter with a high integrity level and ethical conduct
