Master Craftsman

We are seeking an experienced Master Craftsman to join our team as a Tool Fabrication and Maintenance Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of high-quality tools and dies.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and maintenance of tools and dies, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our production team to understand their requirements and provide technical support.

About You:

• You have a minimum of 10 years' experience in tool and die making, preferably in a factory environment.
• You hold a Qualification in Tool- and Die Making (Olifantsfontein) or equivalent.
• You possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fabricate tools and dies to precision using various machine tools and equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines.
2. Conduct thorough inspections and testing of finished tools to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
3. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools to prolong their lifespan and optimize performance.
4. Work closely with maintenance and production personnel to understand their requirements and provide technical support.
