Project Manager Telecommunications Role

We are seeking a highly skilled project manager to lead telecommunications projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation tailored to the South African context.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration to overcome regional challenges.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies specific to the South African telecommunications environment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates and reports on project status to internal teams and clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) are advantageous.
  • 4+ years of project management experience within the telecommunications industry in South Africa.
  • Strong understanding of local telecommunications technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical solutions for the South African market.
