Phlebotomy Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in efficient clinic preparation and closure to achieve blood collection targets, undertaking donor registrations professionally, accurately, promptly, and in a friendly manner, conducting basic physical checks/assessments to correctly assess donor suitability for donations, performing phlebotomy procedures professionally according to standard operating procedures, and conducting general administrative duties.

To be successful in this role, you will require strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, excellent customer service orientation, ability to build relationships, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work as part of a team. You must also possess a current registration with HPCSA, CPR certificate, valid code 8 or 10 driver's license, and be prepared to work overtime, weekends, and variable hours within prescribed limits and conditions.
