We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Officer to join our team in the Western Cape Government.
This role will focus on providing specialist advice and technical expertise towards the development and administration of Air Quality Management systems and policies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership support, guidance and technical advice on the development and implementation of specific projects, as well as contributing towards the development and implementation of air quality regulatory projects and capacity building.
Key Performance Areas:- Develop and administer Air Quality Management systems and policies.
- Provide leadership support and guidance on project development and implementation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of air quality regulatory projects and capacity building.
- Provide specialist advice and technical expertise towards the development and administration of Air Quality Management systems and policies.
- Contribute towards the development and implementation of air quality regulatory projects and capacity building.
- Appropriate Honours Degree in Environmental Management or Physical/Natural Sciences or Engineering.
- Valid (Code B) driving license.
- Strong understanding of Environmental management, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement, and Environmental Legislation.
