Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and supervise a team of paint technicians and operators, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Operational Management:
- Manage day-to-day paint shop operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor paint consumption, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that paint application meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance paint quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and production to implement process changes and innovations.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, including forecasting expenses and capital investments.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness in paint operations.
- Compliance and Reporting:

- Prepare regular reports and presentations on paint shop performance metrics, operational KPIs, and project status updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience of 5 years in automotive paint operations management or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive paint processes, equipment, and materials.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of implementing process improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
