Architectural Technologist

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist with extensive experience as a Construction Manager to join a well-established Heritage construction company in South Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and subcontractors, fostering strong relationships and resolving conflicts.
• Oversee budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management of projects, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Supervise construction teams and monitor progress on site, ensuring quality control and safety standards are met.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, utilizing effective problem-solving skills.
• Ensure quality control and safety on construction sites, adhering to industry best practices and regulations.
• Prepare progress reports and present project updates to stakeholders, providing clear and concise information.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations, ensuring the company remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or Construction Manager.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction processes, including building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software, ensuring efficient project delivery.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good understanding of building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
• Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
• Relevant qualifications in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, ensuring a strong foundation in industry principles and practices.
• Experience in residential and commercial construction projects, with a strong understanding of project delivery and management.
