Equine Stable Supervisor

Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stable Manager to oversee the daily operations of our equestrian facility.

• Yard Operations: Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the yard, including the management of equine rehabilitation horses and provision of daily medications, dressing changes, etc.
• Daily Chores: Manage feeding, mucking out, tack cleaning, sweeping, and other essential tasks.
• Staff and Client Management: Supervise and train staff, as well as manage client relationships and expectations.
• Equine Care: Provide exceptional care to our equine clients, including tacking up and untacking, preparation for competition, and general horse care.
• Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our equestrian facilities, including the solarium and other equipment.

• Qualifications: Equine qualifications and experience working in a competition stable are essential.
• Skills: A strong attention to detail, a high work ethic, and excellent problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience: Previous experience in equine rehabilitation and farming/livestock management is advantageous.
