Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join DSV as a Trainee Accountant and embark on a 3-year training program to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).

Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Accountant, you will be part of the SAICA TOPP Programme, which aims to develop your skills and knowledge in accounting and finance.

During your training, you will have the opportunity to work in different departments, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the finance team.

You will also have access to mentors who will provide guidance and support throughout your studies and exams.

Additionally, DSV will cover the costs of your preparation courses and exams for both ITC and APC.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong academic background, preferably with a Grade 12 certificate and an Accounting degree or similar qualification.

You should also have intermediate computer literacy skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
