Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join our team at Pro Tem. This role involves operating heavy machinery in various conditions while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in varying weather conditions and manage exposure to dust.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Engage in training initiatives aimed at enhancing operational flexibility.
  • Complete inspection checklists prior to the commencement of each shift.
  • Document findings from inspection checklists and communicate with the Team Leader.
  • Collect sorted scrap materials and load them onto tipper trucks for further processing.
  • Conduct a thorough handover with the incoming Excavator Operator at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Possession of a valid Excavator License.
  • Completion of Housekeeping Training is preferred.
