Job Summary

  • Manage small fast-paced projects primarily involving fixed equipment (primarily ASME pressure vessels and API tanks, Pipelines).
  • Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting and solutions under the direction of a senior engineer or supervisor.
  • Interacting directly with other engineers in order to address issues, concerns, or changes in scope.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform calculations by hand or utilizing standard engineering design programs. Research design solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to design problems.
  • Making adjustments or changes to models and drawings needed/recommended by immediate supervisor.
  • Responsible for coordinating, organizing, and tracking the deliverables for multiple projects.
  • Keeping up with the latest codes and standards and informing the group of changes. Coordinating with other disciplines.
  • Working with vendors to obtain supplementary services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 continuous years of relevant work experience in the petrochemical industry.
  • Experience with MS Office (Specifically Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Completed bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering.
