Purpose of the JobTo deliver high-quality, comprehensive nursing care to patients in a paediatric intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in pediatric critical care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and respect among colleagues.
- Degree or Diploma in General Nursing
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty area (desired)
- Experience in pediatric critical care (essential)
- Strong clinical skills and ability to think critically
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently
