Job Summary:

Mechanical Fitter – Assessor Position Available

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter – Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality training in various areas, assessing and moderating student performance, and maintaining training records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Training: Plan and prepare teaching materials, deliver training sessions, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Assessment and Moderation: Assess and moderate student performance, provide feedback, and ensure that training standards are met.
  • Student Support: Provide support to students, answer questions, and assist with understanding complex concepts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Relevant NQF 5+ qualification, Millwright Trade Test and PLC fault-finding skills (Red Seal), and Assessor and Moderator certification (NQF Level 4).
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and welding.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
