  • We are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team, responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, negotiation, and supplier management, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for building strategic supplier relationships, identifying new partnerships, and researching new vendor solutions in line with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a short and long-term Resource strategy to support the business strategy and merchandise direction.
  • Oversee the critical path management up to handover to forwarder date to ensure on-time delivery of merchandise and correct product execution.
  • Partner with respective merchants to maximise sales and react to the trading environment.
  • Identify new product and fabric developments in the global market and how they could be adapted for the local market.

Requirements

  • A completed degree or diploma preferably in Procurement, Sourcing or Clothing Management.
  • 1-3 years sourcing experience.
  • MS Office (Excel).
  • Negotiation Skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of: Corporate Social Responsibility; Sustainable practices; fabric technology; raw materials and manufacturing.
