Job Brief:

The Handyman - General Maintenance will be responsible for performing a range of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes but is not limited to, repairs, replacements, and installations of various equipment and systems.

Main Tasks:

  1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on all equipment to ensure efficient operation
  2. Repairs and Replacements: Repair or replace broken or faulty equipment to minimize downtime
  3. Office Moves: Assist with office relocations, including furniture installation, cable management, and other related tasks
  4. Inspections and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems and provide reports to the Facilities Manager on their condition

Requirements:

  • N3 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical)
  • Matric (Senior Certificate)
  • Valid SA Drivers License
  • 3yrs relevant experience in Handyman maintenance tasks
  • Basic training on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
