Job Title: Storeman

A leading Tissue Manufacturing company in Kempton Park is seeking a highly experienced Storeman to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production consumables, equipment spare parts, and plant consumables in the store.
  • Oversee the procurement, receipt, and storage of spare parts, ensuring timely delivery and quality inspection.
  • Coordinate the issuance of spare parts to the plant, adjusting stock levels in SAP.
  • Responsible for purchasing spare parts against stock levels, reorder levels, and other criteria.
  • Ensure the availability of plant stock and non-stock spares to the engineering team.
  • Conduct daily checks on stock movements and perform cycle counts according to schedule.
  • Perform periodic stock-take of stock spares and manage the tools register.
  • Ensure the secure storage and timely receipt of spares, adhering to company procedures.
  • Present reports to the Engineering team on stock position, cost management, and future strategy.
  • Ensure all spares stock is reviewed annually and redundant stock is scrapped.
  • Collaborate with security and production on after-hours procedures and stock control.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
