Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Irene-Pretoria

Salary: Market related - depending on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on mining and industrial projects, including mining development projects, process plants, roads, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate quantity surveying activities on various projects
  • Develop and implement quantity surveying strategies to ensure accurate cost estimation and control
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues
  • Prepare and present quantity surveying reports and recommendations to project stakeholders

Requirements:

  • BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying
  • 5+ years of experience post-Honours
  • Preferably studied at a University and not Technicon
  • Experience in the Mining industry
  • Preferably Pr.QS/RICS registered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of MS Projects, WinQS, and DimX
