We're seeking a dedicated and proactive Career Growth Facilitator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting member success through individualized check-ins and coaching sessions, overall campus coordination, and ensuring a safe and productive environment.

This is an onsite role requiring excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Member Support and Coaching: Conduct 1:1 check-in and coaching sessions with members to monitor their progress, address concerns, and provide guidance for academic, career, and personal development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for members needing support or assistance.
  • Identify at-risk members and collaborate with relevant departments to provide timely interventions.
  • Organize and conduct soft skills workshops, interview trainings, CV review, and coordinate workshops with external partners.
  • Support members in their application process and while they are employed to achieve their full potential.
  • Oversee daily attendance, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-ups on absences.
  • Coordinate with co-working security to maintain a safe and secure environment for all members.
  • Enforce Project Y policies and procedures related to attendance, safety, and general conduct.
  • Act as the liaison between members and Project Y to address campus-related issues.
  • Facilitate technical (laptops) support and manage any other operational challenges.

Safety & Security

  • Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents on campus, providing support and resolution as needed.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness among members.

Administrative Tasks

  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of member interactions and progress in our CRM system.
  • Prepare reports on attendance, incidents, and member success metrics.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights, updates, and suggestions for improving member support services with the Management.

Membership Services

  • Support the management in identifying and integrating additional membership services.
  • Support in the preparation of member presentations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years experience in member support or coaching, campus coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong proven coaching skills (certifications in soft skills development), ability to motivate others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in using attendance tracking systems and other administrative tools.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive campus environment.
  • Presentation skills and strong skills in PowerPoint, Canva, or other presentation tools.
  • Experience with software development or sales is a plus.

Working Conditions

This is an onsite role with working hours from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (SAST). The candidate should be prepared to work in a dynamic campus environment and respond to occasional after-hours situations (this will range between 8am and 1pm SAST).
