We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to manage and coordinate the financial reporting, internal audit verification, and administration function for the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly Management accounts, Management reports, profit forecasts, and profit estimates in accordance with the Financial Director's requirements.
  • Internal Audit: Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements of the company and group subsidiaries.
  • Financial Hygiene: Manage and maintain the financial hygiene of the Company Ledger.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Work on various ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Journals and Reconciliations: Authorize journals and reconciliations.
  • Unusual Transactions: Investigate unusual transactions.
  • Local and Forex Payments: Release local and forex payments.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure hygiene and compliance with relevant VAT and SARB regulations within all areas.
  • Budget Planning: Coordinate, plan, and prepare the annual budget.
  • Year-End Accounting Packs: Coordinate, plan, and prepare year-end accounting packs and tax packs.
  • ERP System: Add value through enhanced information delivery through development of the ERP system.
  • Business Processes: Review business processes (SOPs) when required and provide support and advice thereof.
  • Internal Audits: Carry out internal audits and follow-up audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Board 1 with Articles: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Commercial Experience: At least 2 years of post-article commercial experience.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Oracle R12 is an advantage. Proficiency in Office 365 suite is essential.
  • Hyperion/FDM/GL-WAND: Knowledge of Hyperion/FDM/GL-WAND is an advantage.

The estimated salary for this position is around R550,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
