Culinary Arts Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Arts Instructor to join our team at The Recruiters. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and facilitating students' learning and development in the culinary arts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lectures on culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen management">
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure students meet the required standards">
• Mentor students to achieve successful course completion">
• Plan and execute demonstrations, events, and marketing activities">
• Requisition ingredients, materials, and equipment as required">
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and progress">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• ">
• 2-3 years solid experience in the Food Industry">
• 1-3 years solid lecturing experience">
• Tertiary qualification equivalent to NQF5 (City & Guilds / Highfield Diploma in Culinary Arts and/or Patisserie)">
• Valid up-to-date Code 8 Driver's License">
• Physical stamina to spend long hours on your feet and lift heavy supplies">
