Digital Transformation Specialist

Salary Range: R54,750 - R74,750 per annum, depending on relevant experience.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the integration of IT and OT systems, ensuring seamless automation and improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for technological advancements and digitalization, driving innovation and growth.
• Provide technical expertise and support to Paint Shop maintenance personnel, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Lead the implementation of change management procedures, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT and OT asset list, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company standards.
• Identify and drive processes towards a total digital factory, benchmarking against other plants to ensure best practices.

• National Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on control system technologies and shop floor IT.
• Excellent hardware and OS knowledge, with a good understanding of virtualized environments, network protocols, and SCADA systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and reporting levels, with strong analytical and administration skills.
